DAN TEHAN MP

Dan Tehan was sworn in as Minister for Education on 28 August 2018. He was first elected as the Federal Member for Wannon in 2010.

Having spent nearly a decade in the Australian Parliament, Dan has established a reputation as a passionate advocate for his local community as well as achieving outcomes for rural and regional communities.

Dan’s education, personal experience and career have given him a real understanding of the needs of people living in our region. Importantly, it has also taught him how to get the action to address these needs.

Dan’s achievements have a direct impact on our communities: like reducing the level of regulation on small business, assisting farmers in selling their goods overseas and improving the standard of mobile phone and internet services in country areas.
