Better Roads, Rail and Air

The Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program (HVSPP) is an ongoing Australian Government initiative funding infrastructure projects that improve the productivity and safety outcomes of heavy vehicle operations across Australia.

Upgrade the border road to improve safety to accommodate A-Double standard transportation. Note project was delivered via Wattle Council, SA $2,000,000

Green Triangle Road Network Enhancements - shoulder sealing on the Princes Highway West between Heywood and the South Australian border $5,000,000
2010
(Round 2)
The project proposes to construct one new rest area and upgrade an existing rest area on the Princes Highway West east of Dartmoor on the section between Heywood and the SA border. $970,000
