In this speech to Parliament, I raised a critical issue directly with the Prime Minister and the Minister for Infrastructure — the poor quality of the $60 million upgrade to the Princes Highway between Warrnambool and Port Fairy.
This road is vital for locals, workers and key industries like dairy and timber.
Yet despite the funding, the Victorian Labor Government failed to deliver a proper job. Constant pothole repairs, flat tyres, and damaged vehicles are now a regular frustration for people in Wannon.
It’s simple: if you’re going to do the job, do it properly.
