Regional Victorians are fed up and rightly so. Potholes are popping up everywhere, making our roads dangerous and damaging vehicles. Instead of fixing them, the Albanese Labor Government’s solution is to cut the speed limit.
That’s not a solution. It’s an insult. While billions of taxpayer dollars are being poured into major infrastructure projects in Melbourne, regional communities are being told to slow down and put up with unsafe roads.
Country Victorians deserve better. We deserve roads that are safe to drive on, not second-class treatment. It’s time for the Federal and State Labor Governments to take responsibility, stop ignoring regional Australia, and fix our roads now.
