Over the past few weeks, I’ve been travelling across Wannon, holding listening posts to hear directly from local communities. Everywhere I go, people are telling me the same thing, they’re struggling to keep up with the soaring cost of living.
Power bills have jumped by 39%, gas prices by more than 20%, and the cost of groceries and insurance keeps rising. Families, pensioners, and small businesses are doing it tough and they need real relief.
It’s time for the government to stop the excuses and start delivering solutions that ease the pressure on Australians.
