Earlier this month, I launched my campaign for the federal election which is due to be held no later than 17 May.
I was joined in Colac by the former Prime Minister, Tony Abbott, who has been a wonderful mentor to me and someone who always wants what’s best for our country.
After the launch, Mr. Abbot and I went out doorknocking to meet the locals and listen to their concerns.
It was around 41C that day but fortunately one of the people we visited, Sharon, was on hand with some local Bulla icy poles from Murray Street Colac to cool us down!
