The project will see an upgrade to the Hawkesdale Memorial Hall’s toilet, foyer and community facilities which will include a disabled toilet as well as a refurbishment so the hall is inclusive and accessible to a wider range of community members. The update works also include the provision of a new community space which will include a barbecue area that can be opened to the front of the Hall building to create a new gathering space for community, local events and activities. This will allow for greater use of the Hall and surrounding public open space and increase the opportunities for the community to continue to fund raise for the Hall and other community initiatives.
