Improved kitchen amenities will assist the volunteers in providing weekly meals for all participants including supporters. The area is also used as a fire refuge as it was during the Saint Patrick's Day fires of 2018. The kitchen amenities would also be used in times of need. The club has also hosted civil events such as the Moyne Shire Australia Day awards ceremonies where catering is provided.
