The condition of the existing asphalt surface of these courts has reached a point where it is no longer safe to play. There are cracks with weeds and during rainfall, water pools on the surface causing slipperiness and poses a risk to the users. The courts are used by the Apollo Bay Netball club, casual and social tennis players from the townships of Apollo Bay, Skenes Creek and Marengo and visitors to the adjacent camping ground.
