Ambulance Victoria in Hamilton provides a vital service to 16,000 Southern Grampians residents. There is currently only one paramedic ambulance in Hamilton for the 13-hour night shift.* If there is more than one emergency, an ambulance has to come from a neighbouring town, causing delays in treating patients.
I’m calling on the Victorian State Government to fund the resources to enable a second paramedic ambulance night shift in Hamilton.
