Value adding in the dairy industry is becoming more sophisticated by the day.
It was wonderful to visit ProviCo in Dennington recently and see what they’re doing, particularly when it comes to specialised nutrition. The innovation that they’re using is world class and the result of this is more jobs at ProviCo. 65 people are being employed there now and there's potential for more.
There has been a $40 million investment in the industry and this is strengthening the value of dairy, which ultimately means our dairy farmers will be paid more.
