The Regional and Small Publishers Innovation Fund is a competitive grants program that provides up to $16 million in grants per year for three years to support regional and small publishers to transition and compete more successfully in the evolving media environment. The Innovation Fund is part of the Broadcasting and Content Reform package, announced by the Government in October 2017. The Package includes a competitive grant program, and scholarships for university students and cadetships to be delivered by regional and small publishers.
