The Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local communities. (Only the roads component of this funding is listed on this page.)

* Construction of a new road and road-related infrastructure works
* Depot Road Seal Extension
* Camperdown Drainage Stage 2, drainage Culverts and associated works to improve drainage in Gnotuk Road, Park Avenue and Park Road
* Darlington Drainage, drainage Pipes, culverts and associated works to improve drainage
* Neil Avenue, Terang Drainage Improvements
* Bridge works and improvements of bridges and culverts across the Shire
* Shire-wide improvements to traffic signage at flood-risk roads, Flood Study Infrastructure Stage 1
2020
(Phase 2)
Delivery of local road priority projects $405,000
 * Williams Road, Simpson rehabilitation works to return the priority section of the road to its original standard due to failing subpavement
 * Skipton Roadhouse rehabilitation to return the car parking area to its original standard. Used by the community to access the Australia post outlet at the Skipton Roadhouse
 * Camperdown, upgrades to culverts, kerb and guttering and related activities to improve drainage only
2020
(Phase 1)
Delivery of local road priority projects $204,575
 * Windham Street, Skipton resealed, which provides access from and to the Skipton Roadhouse service station and is used by heavy vehicles to access the key routes north of Skipton.
 * Glenelg Highway, Skipton this project will seal the truck and long vehicle parking area located opposite the Skipton Roadhouse service station.
 * Windham Street, Skipton, upgrading an unsealed section of the road to a sealed road to improve access to heavy and other vehicles. Windham Street is partly sealed (50m). This will extend the seal along the entire road.
