Are you aware of an individual, team or group that needs to be recognised for their contribution to sport or volunteering? If so, you are being encouraged to nominate them for the sport or volunteer awards.
Dan Tehan, Member for Wannon, is inviting nominations for the awards which are an excellent way to say thank you to the outstanding members of our Wannon community whose actions and efforts make a positive difference to our region.
The Sport and Volunteer Awards celebrate the contributions of the band of volunteers across Wannon who give their support and time generously every year to their chosen sporting or community organisation.
Mr Tehan said he was particularly looking forward to this year’s event, as it would be held in person, and I look forward to celebrating the wonderful volunteers who are the lifeblood of our communities.
Nominations close at 5:00 pm Friday 30 September 2022.
