An elected Liberal Government will build new female change rooms and expand the existing netball pavilion to support the growth of the Western Eagles Football Netball Club in Irrewillipe.
Dan Tehan MP, Liberal Member for Wannon, has secured this commitment so everyone, especially women and girls, have access to safe and modern facilities when participating in grassroots sport.
“I’ve had strong feedback from the local community about the need for these upgraded change rooms to support female athletes and strengthen community sport,” Mr Tehan said.
“This project will support grassroots sport, and ensure regional women and girls have the same opportunities as those in the city,” Mr Tehan said.
This commitment is part of the Liberals’ plan to strengthen our local communities and to get Australia back on track.
