An elected Liberal Government will deliver a new playground at the Portland Football Netball Club.
Dan Tehan MP, Liberal Member for Wannon, has secured funding for a new, family-friendly space that will be safe and accessible for all.
"I’ve had strong feedback from Portland families and the sporting community about the need for a dedicated space for kids at the club,” Mr Tehan said.
“This vital upgrade will allow parents, carers and volunteers to stay active and involved. I’d like to thank the Portland Football Netball Club for their advocacy.”
“I’ll always listen and fight for our community. This project will remove real barriers to participation and encourage healthy activity for the next generation,” Mr Tehan said.
This commitment is part of the Liberals’ plan to strengthen our local communities and get Australia back on track.
