This construction of a nature-based play space project will contribute towards a larger project to create a ‘play~skape' that invites exploration of the natural environment by children of all ages. Elements of this play area will feature natural materials that will enhance habitat which simultaneously creating interesting and engaging props to scaffold imaginary play. The foundation of the play environment comprising the strategic placement of boulders, smaller rocks, logs, indigenous plants and paths has been completed. Installation of a BBQ, seating and a bike path is yet to be accomplished.
