Residents of the Petjuli Street park catchment do not currently have access to a playground within walking (500m) distance, with the nearest playground being more than a kilometre away. The park is currently undeveloped with some trees and park benches. This development will create a social destination for the many children, families and carers in the area, activities for a range of age groups and access to these facilities with the creation of a hard surface path connecting to the existing footpaths.
