Fuel reimbursement will enable volunteers use the community tractor without having to supply their own fuel for community working bees, particularly at the town "Common" - Hawkesdale's community park. Other places include the Hawkesdale Racecourse Reserve now a nature park with five golf holes for community exercise.
A 3m X 4.5m fold up Gazebo will help volunteers at community functions such as the annual dawn service for ANZAC Day and the Australia Day free breakfast. It will help volunteers of other town organisations including sporting groups, the CFA and the organiser of the annual community Christmas Carols family night. This will avoid the ongoing use of private gazebos.
An additional speaker, stand and microphone stand will add to the town's existing portable PA which gets used at community functions such as the ANZAC Dawn service, Australia Day breakfast, Hawkesdale Hall functions and other community gatherings.
