An elected Liberal Government will support safer beaches and improved community infrastructure by delivering a $7.65 million to support the upgrade of the Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club.
Liberal Member for Wannon, Dan Tehan has secured this commitment to ensure lifesavers, beachgoers, and the local community have access to modern, purpose-built lifesaving facilities.
“I’ve heard from local surf lifesavers and community members that Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club needs modern infrastructure to keep our beaches safe and accessible for all,” Dan Tehan said.
“This project will ensure our lifesavers have the facilities they need to patrol effectively and improve beach access for everyone in the community.”
“I’ll always listen and fight for our community. This project will enhance safety, support lifesaving operations, and create a more inclusive space for all beachgoers,” Dan Tehan said.
Only Dan Tehan and the Liberals have a plan to build stronger communities and invest in Wannon’s future, ensuring our regions have the sporting infrastructure they need to thrive.
